Hello, and welcome to the Learning AS 3.0 Blog. In case you didn't know, AS is short for Actionscript, however I will refer to it as AS. Together we will learn AS 3.0 and end up creating lots of exciting applications and games! I have never used AS 3.0 before but I do have experience with AS 2.0.
To start of we will need to buy a copy of Flash CS3. You can download the trial from Adobe (link will take you to the download page). You must have Flash CS3 to use AS 3.0, so download a 30-day trial if you don't have it.
Now that we've got Flash CS3 up make sure you become familiar with how to use it. Just mess about with it for a few hours, or look for some Tutorials on Google. Now we are ready to start!
Soon I will create the first Tutorial, something basic but important. Keep coming back as this shall be updated alot.
